Terms and conditions

Films are shown subject to our licensing conditions and we have some standard terms and conditions which apply to all film shows at Hamsteels. These apply to you and anyone else you have obtained tickets for.

  1. If, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have to cancel a film show our liability to you is limited to the cost of your admission ticket. We cannot be held liable for any consequential losses.
  2. We reserve the right to refuse admission or require a customer to leave the premises where their behaviour is disruptive, annoying or upsetting to others, without giving a refund.
  3. All children must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over and all adults accompanying children should ensure a reasonable level of control over them to ensure their behaviour is acceptable.
  4. Anyone who purchases tickets and anyone who uses those tickets must observe any conditions made by the British Board of Film Classification Certificate for the film, particularly in relation to the age rating. We reserve the right to request proof of age where necessary and refuse admission if appropriate.
  5. Only alcohol purchased from us may be consumed on the premises due to licensing requirements. Anyone found to be consuming their own alcohol will be asked to leave without a refund.
  6. Only food and other drinks purchased from us should be consumed on the premises.
  7. Mobile telephones must be turned off during the film. It is illegal to make sound or visual recordings of films and should anyone be found to be doing so, appropriate action will be taken. This may include Police involvement.
