We offer straightforward hire of our main hall for children’s parties, family celebrations and private events.
The space is hired for private use, with clear arrangements so you know exactly what is included and what to expect.

What can the hall be used for?
The hall can be hired for children's parties, family celebrations and private events such as baby showers, christening parties, wedding receptions, anniversaries and other celebration events.
It is hired for private use during your booked time.
How long can we hire the hall for?
You can hire the hall for:
- Up to 2 hours
- Up to 3 hours
Each booking includes 30 minutes before and after your event for setting up and clearing away.
If you are having entertainment and need additional time to set up, this time is charged at £15 per hour.
Bookings longer than 3 hours are also possible.
How much does it cost?
- £30 for up to 2 hours
- £45 for up to 3 hours
Details of payment are provided when booking.
If you would like to book a longer event or need more time to set up or clear away, this is charged at £15 per hour
What is included in the hire?
- Use of the main hall for your event
- Tables and chairs
- Sound system and lighting
- Toilets and accessible facilities
- Hot & cold drinks available to buy
Can we have a bar?
Yes but this must be booked in advance.
If you would like the bar to be open at your event, ideally this should be requested when booking but no less than 7 days before your event.
Can we use other rooms in the building?
No - hire is for the main hall only.
Other rooms are not included in party bookings.
Do you provide crockery, cutlery, or catering equipment?
No, crockery, cutlery, and catering equipment are not provided.
Hirers are welcome to bring their own
Is help provided with set-up or cleaning?
No. Volunteers do not provide set-up or clean-up
Hirers are responsible for setting up, clearing away, and leaving the hall clean and tidy.
What standard does the hall need to be left in?
The hall should be left clean and tidy, ready for the next user.
Clear guidance on cleaning and waste disposal is provided at the time of booking.
Please take any rubbish or recycling home with you as we are unable to dispose of this for you.
Can we arrive early or stay late?
Your booking includes a 30 minute period before and after for set-up and clearing away.
Access outside your booked time is not guaranteed. If you require additional time to set up or clear away, this is £15 per hour. Please request this when booking.
How do we check availability and confirm a booking?
To check availability please contact us by telephone or email.
A booking is confirmed once:
- A booking form has been completed
- Payment is received
This secures the date and time for your event.
Provisional bookings will be held for 7 days only.
